Brief

In the lap of the western ghats of India, Palghar district is unarguably one of the most difficult terrains in India in terms of accessing water during summer which is gradually worsening because of climate change and deforestation.

The scope of Fairpicture photographer Avijit Ghosh's assignment was to document how the donation from Grundfos Foundation, its partner NGO’s – Department Of Water Supply and Sanitation (DWSS) – has made water accessibility easy and how it’s changing people’s lives.
