A trip to Central Asia by Swiss entrepreneur Ueli Breitschmid was the beginning of LLC CURADEN TAJIKISTAN, the most exotic outpost of the Curaden company. There, the company is committed to the prevention of dental problems, and regularly conducts «dental alarm classes» for parents and children. For an article in CURADEN's annual report, photographer Roman Buryak documented life in the city of Dushanbe during three days.

The outskirts of Dushanbe are full of children who walk and play in the streets from morning to night. One of these games is played with plastic bottle lids. The goal is to hit as many lids as possible. The winner gets to keep the lids they hit. The children use these lids as currency that can be exchanged for toys or even real money.

According to tradition, in every city and town, in an area sheltered by trees, there is a teahouse called "Chaihana". In Tajikistan, as in many parts of Asia, teahouses do not only tempt with tea. They unite people and their souls and bring them closer together. It is customary to drink the first cup yourself, then offer tea to the person sitting on your right-hand side, even if you don't know them. The tea cup stands for the «cup of wisdom», for friendly interaction and for human joy.
